Our youth camp next month is going to be a great weekend for the youth of Overflow Church.

As a Church at Overflow we have started looking at the vision for the coming 5 years. As the youth of the church, we have started the process of looking through this. The Church’s vision is to be:

A family of wholehearted people, Becoming unmistakably like Jesus,

Going out of our way to boldly demonstrate God’s goodness, Everyday wherever we are.

 

For this year’s youth camp, the teaching theme is going to be “Whole Hearted Family.”

The fun theme of the camp is going to be “Hillbillies.” So, come prepared to get dressed up as hillbillies for Sat night.

Accommodation will be in 8 A-Frame Cabins where there is 6 beds in each cabin. We will be self-catering and there is a rage of activities for the youth to participate in free time, such as peddle go-karts, jumping pillow, tennis/volley ball court, sensory garden walks, soccer/cricket field, and putt-putt golf course. All our activities will be on-site for the camp. 

Due to COVID 19 it is required that anyone who is displaying cold and flu symptoms or has be in contact with someone with COVID or a current hot spot area will not be permitted to attend camp.

Social distancing during camp time will also be encouraged and sanitiser will be available throughout the camp.  It’s going to be a great time.

  • Where: Camp Break Away, 80 Highview Ave, San Remo, 2262 (A- Frame cabins)
  • When:  Friday 9th to Sunday 11th April 2021
  • Arrive /Drop off: From 7pm (Arrive after dinner)
  • Leave / Pick up: 1pm on Sunday (after lunch)
  • Cost: $80 per person, $150 for 2, $200 for 3 from same family.

What to Bring:

  • sleeping bag
  • pillow
  • snacks/home-baked goodies to share,
  • Bible, pen, notebook,
  • fave board game
  • walking shoes
  • torch
  • toiletries
  • towel
  • Hillbilly outfit
  • hat

Don’t hesitate to phone with any questions, and please let us know if your teen has specific dietary requirements, or if you need help with transport in plenty of time, so we can organise this with you.
